Young Hotelier Awards ASEAN 2019 is the first Tourism and Hospitality idea and innovation contest in South East Asia for enthusiasts aged from 16 to 25. The contest aims to uncover and encourage talents in the Hospitality and Tourism industry.

With the purpose of creating a dynamic and professional playground for young innovators to demonstrate their ideas and seek new pathways in the Hospitality and Tourism industry, Vietnam Hospitality Network in association with Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organization, Student Assistance Center, International Alumni Network, and Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities proudly announce the Young Hoteliers Awards ASEAN 2019 contest with the theme “Ring your Idea”.

Young Hotelier Awards ASEAN 2019 (YHA ASEAN 2019) welcomes innovative ideas in the Tourism and Hospitality industry, including:

  1.      Tourism
  2.      Food & Beverage, Restaurant & Hospitality
  3.      Technology in the Tourism and Hospitality industry

In addition to uncovering valuable innovation in the Tourism and Hospitality industry, YHA ASEAN 2019 seeks to equip young talents with appropriate skills needed for their future career. To serve this purpose, YHA ASEAN 2019 is formatted for groups of 3 contestants and consists of 3 rounds, running from April 12, 2019 to August 08, 2019.

Contestants will demonstrate their ideas through different formats: Business model canvas,  presentation and video, and project pitching. With the diversity in formats, YHA ASEAN 2019 expects the contestants to break their own limits, be confident and innovative.

The winner team of YHA ASEAN 2019 will earn attractive prizes and short-term training courses abroad. YHA ASEAN 2019 targets at citizens of Southeast Asian countries aged from 16 to 25, whether they are students, graduates or employees.
